This webinar will be an opportunity to discuss what you think the key priorities for Accessible Travel in Scotland should be in the coming years and share your insights about what impactful change you would like to see.

We will hear from Steven Dora the Accessible Travel and Blue Badge Policy Team Leader for Transport Scotland and Lyn Pornaro the Chief Executive Officer for Disability Equality Scotland. They will both share updates of where Transport Scotland and Disability Equality Scotland are now with the work being done in relation to the Accessible Travel Framework and what they feel are the key priorities of the framework moving forward.

We will then open into discussion groups which will be facilitated by staff from Transport Scotland and Disability Equality Scotland. These discussions will be an opportunity to gather feedback on the potential priority actions and outcomes of what the Accessible Travel Framework should be and what a measure of success for those outcomes could look like.

Feedback from this webinar will go on to inform the recommendations of the Accessible Travel Framework Evaluation project and report. We’re eager to hear what priorities you have in relation to improving your travel and transport experience and the wider enhancement of accessible travel in Scotland, ensuring that these are prioritised moving forward.

This webinar will be hosted via Zoom and will be supported by captioning, as well as British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters.
