Guide Dogs UK is committed to improving access and equality for blind and partially sighted people across the UK. They offer a huge range of services to blind and partially sighted people, young and old, as well as training for staff or information for individuals who want to know more about how they can be more inclusive.
Accessible travel must be able to include everyone, and the Scottish branch of Guide Dogs UK has, as part of the Accessible Travel Steering Group, been closely involved with the work around the Accessible Travel Plan. Guide Dogs is ensuring that blind and partially sighted people’s needs and wishes are reflected in the Plan and will be taken into account when the plan is implemented.
