DES Member’s Positive ScotRail Experience

ScotRail is very good – especially, Waverley, Haymarket, Glasgow Queen Street and Dunblane. The staff are very helpful, polite, and there when they say they will be.
Onboard staff on the trains are also great at helping me off and on, etc. One day at Haymarket, the assistant person was great at just getting someone to move so I could have the disabled seat on the train, which was full.
I always feel helped and not patronised, and allowed time to sort myself out.
The new online and app booking system for rail assistance works well, as does the system of phoning ahead to say which carriage I am in.
